October 2011

The 2012 Volvo S60 sedan and Volvo V60 wagon ranges have welcomed the arrival of two downsized engines - including one diesel - and additional new features.
The first new engine is the 2.0-litre D3 diesel, which produces 120kW of power and 400Nm of torque. Also new is the 1.6-litre T4 turbocharged petrol engine, which is now the smallest engine in the range, returning a combined cycle fuel consumption figure of 7.4 litres/100km in both the Volvo S60 and Volvo V60.
The new engines join the D5, T5 and T6 powerplants already available in the Volvo range.
The new entry-level Volvo models come with City Safety as well as features such as electrically-adjustable driver's seat, rain-sensing wipers, reverse parking sensors, 17-inch alloy wheels, High Performance Multimedia with Bluetooth audio streaming, a three-spoke steering wheel and a grocery-bag holder in the luggage compartment included as standard.
All Volvo V60 models now feature integrated child booster seats for the two outer rear positions, and selected models feature additional upgrades including a reversing camera, Adaptive Cruise Control including Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake, pedestrian detection and queue assist.
